We get it.
Remember when your teenage self said, "I'll never have to use algebra when I'm an adult!" and your high school math teacher chuckled to himself and shook his head? Yeah, this is what he was laughing about (Mr. Wood, I'm talking about you).
The last thing you want to do after a long day at work is to give yourself a headache trying to remember the differential equations that you learned 10 years ago so you can help your kid who is growing frustrated by the millisecond because they don't understand their assignment (or worse, can't figure out what formula to use).
You haven't used APA citation in years, and the only chemistry you've done since high school involved unclogging the shower drain.
